Road cars faster than race cars. Is this wrong?

Top Gear magazine did a feature at the Red Bull ring that involved giving The Stig a bunch of super cars and sports to do a fastest lap.
The fastest was the Mclaren P1 GTR with a time of 1:32.9 however it has slick tyres so isn't really road legal. The fastest proper road car was a Lamborghini Hurracan at 1:45.4 (faster than a Nissan GTR and a Ferrari 458.) Since these were done from a standing start (I think) you'll have to wait to see what an F1 car does on its first lap tomorrow. I have a suspicion that it will be faster despite cold tyres and a full fuel tank.
