So the Renault World Series is returning to silverstone again this year. I went a few years ago and it was fantastic. Every level of Renault racing was there and will be again. Last time I went I managed to get free tickets through Renault, is this still the case? I have had a look and tickets are £12 at the moment which isn't bad for the quality. But was wondering if anyone knew or has a way of getting free tickets.
Also is anyone else attending this year?

Its the only race on the WSbR Calendar that is being charged for, all the others in Europe are still free. Thinking the attendance will be well down this year, although £12 is cheap for what you get, much of the previous years gate was made up of non motorsport fans out for a free day out, no bad thing if you want to promote your brand.
Make the most of it though as Renault are dropping FR3.5 at the end of the year so cannot see it happening again, at least not on such a big scale.

They are charging a token amount for 'crowd control'. Good for motorsport fans but not so much for those wanting a good day out for nothing. It's £8 per adult. Well worth £16 for a family of 4 IMO.

ok. so charging will prevent a crowd from turning up hence none to control, great idea!
