A podium would be fantastic smile

As I understand it Corsica isn't confirmed for the championship next year, added to which the FIA weren't overly keen on the format the organisers proposed initially. Can't see the freak weather having helped Corsica to retain a place in the championship next year frown
Apparently the VW boss has said they will be back in 6 months! Hopefully lessons can be learned from this year, and we get a full days competition while keeping the long stages.

Good pace from Sordo, would be heading for a podium if it wasn't for that puncture on day 1.

Happy to see Paddon getting the hang of tarmac too - I can't remember exactly but I think the number of tarmac rallies in his career might still be in single figures. scratchchin

I think in Germany they said it was his 7th tarmac event.

Power stage in 10 minutes, just hoping Evans can bring it home on the podium now!

And Kubica mocks the TV schedule by taking second on the power stage after being left out of the coverage. hehe

Brilliantly judged performance from Elfyn, driving at the perfect pace after that SS3 win, then keeping calm under pressure from Mikkelsen!

Well done Elfyn. Great drive.
I do hope Meeke gets something sorted for next year soon.
Also, Kevin Abbring's co driver is an up and coming Brit too, Seb Marshall.

Evans did well to hold the position after blitzing SS3 - not sure he would have kept it if the rally was one stage longer mind you... hehe

Should give him a good confidence boost after Australia anyway. smile

and yet Tanak put in the same kind of performance in Corsica as Elfyn did in Oz, but no one comments on it. I have a sneaking suspicion that M sport can;t produce 2 equal cars.
