Halfway point. Race shaping up nicely but you get the feeling they're all just waiting to see what the weather brings.

Eyes are beginning to get heavy now...

So much easier to watch now I've emigrated! It's 11:22 here in Perth and cloudy but warm!

I managed to get a tactical 4 hours sleep before the start, so still going strong.

Looks like Lowndes is about to hit the front, any of the top 5 can win this at the moment

Oh yes. Whincup penalised for passing the safety car to avoid stacking in the pits. Correct decision for me as he'd just become the new leader.

Result looks fairly set as long as everyone finishes. Nobody has significant extra pace to do anything special.
