We got here last Sunday, as we've got a holiday apartment down in Uersfeld for less than £400 between 4 of us for 7 nights. Managed to get a cheeky lap in before they closed the circuit to tourists for the week too.

We were in the Bilstein stand when the storm hit this afternoon, and got photos of a VW and an Astra in the classics race come together.

It was quite an intense short thunderstorm wasn't it! We were in the bilstein stand at turn 1 as well when it came. No wonder they did 2 laps behind the safety cars.

It's a tad slippery and unpredictable at the moment. We're sat watching the live coverage (in German which we can't understand!), and have seen the LMS R8 bin it. The AMG GT3s are something else, so quick and an awesome noise!

If you have a phone and headphones, stream Radio Le Mans. Its 10 seconds ahead of the live video so pause it for 10 and itll be in sync.
