Got everything crossed that Hyundai's new I20 is as quick as it looks, Neuville can regain his form and Paddon can carry on progressing really. Looks like there is plenty of snow and ice on the stages down in Monte, though not much more forecast from now on. Hopefully that's wrong and we get some changeable conditions, just after they have left service!

Looking forward to it!

New Hyundai now looks genuinely quick ! !

Kubica's car livery looks .... well really quite dull compared with previous years frown

Meeke only 4 seconds off Ogier after a spin. Game on!

I think both will be on a different level this rally.

Be really interesting to see if Meeke can keep the pace up!

Top job by Meeke!

Also by Paddon, setting a very quick time despite no studs on the icy section!

I was hoping that tyre choice wouldn't bite him, it was a pretty brave move for a Monte newby! Obviously worked for him though.

Meeke is going very well so far isn't he, I guess the long contract without having to fight for his seat is good for his confidence.

I'm almost sure I've seen that corner in Monte compilations of previous years, it always claims several cars. You'd think they'd have that in the notes.

Who or what or how is Kubica affording to Rally/Crash ?? He's beyond a joke at this stage. I mean I could be fast up to a point of crashing also.

Apparently Evans slid off on the same corner too, but bounced off Kubica's car and carried on.
