Ok, call me weird but Steve Soper's battered BMW coupe is my pick. I'd watched F1, rallying, rallycross et al but nothing got me into motorsport more than early 90's Touring cars and this BM doorhandled in magnificent fashion while still looking familiar (thanks again Alfa for spoiling that). This series, THAT race, this car. Sadly I'm struggling to find a better pic - I'm quite sure someone may have a screen grab or maybe just a library image.

The man's an animal!!
Do you mean the Listerine 3-series?

Yessir, but in this instance I only mean Soper's rear-ended example. There was just something about that deranged car being driven to and beyond the limit: I mean how many people cheered when damage was included on console driving games? Of all the Touring cars of that era the Labatts M3 has to be my pick. Interesting to note from the above image just how standard the cars looked!

In other categories the T70 has always been a favourite (did they feature in THX1138?), the 512T (oooh, the noise) and the just ridiculously lovely ISO Bizzarini:

I'm biassed but they are cool looking imo:

Yep no doubting they were a damn sexy bit of kit, just a shame the performance didn't match the looks.
ll

They did /do look great and If I recall correctly they out qualified the F40's and the F1 GTR's a few times, reliability on the other hand was another matter entirely !

Most of what I was going to suggest has already been posted. As I'm on my phone I can't be bothered to post many photos, but I've always like this (don't laugh)

Also pretty much all the 90s btcc and dtm cars
I like these aswell - mostly because of association with childhood memories. But they do look smart - and more interesting than the current crop of cars.

My fave of the bunch. Horrid road car but loved these.

I always thought the BTCC Peugeot 405 MI16 in this colour scheme was the best looking touring car of that era, although it was not very successful.

Sticking with the french theme I'd also nominate the 1998 Prost.

Which is awesome!

My Votes are these:

I think that might just be a modern car with the old livery. Looks really nice though!
