The Fords got their boost pressure reduced too. On the basis of the changes made, I reckon it's Ferraris race to lose, they get to keep the same power output with only an extra 15kg.
Why so strict on such things? Also the governing bodies have also tweaked the engine restrictor diameter, with Aston Martin and Corvette getting reductions of 0.4mm and 0.3mm respectively

No idea. I like BoP, it should result in close racing across the board but it might not work here. Also the governing bodies have also tweaked the engine restrictor diameter, with Aston Martin and Corvette getting reductions of 0.4mm and 0.3mm respectively
Anyway, maybe they've done the right thing and the racing between all the cars will be close, but on first glance it looks like Ferrari have a slight edge. That said, I don't know how much the boost pressure was reduced by on the Fords.

Ford and Ferrari penalized with extra weight for running too fast in Le Mans qualifying.
Seems this came about because of the corvette team have a moan.
Where is everybody watching, is it eurosport only?
Hmm, dont like this. Changing things once the meeting has started.....If Corvette want to be treated more fairly, then do the full WEC. Seems this came about because of the corvette team have a moan.

As a rally/ WRC fan Le Mans shows us how to run a proper event; not straitjacketed into a generic event formula, like most FiA events. Maybe the Monte needs to be more individualistic?
Would like to see Toyota to finally claim a well deserved win - and only the 2nd for a Japanese manufacturer. Really hope it's not Audi....nice blokes, but the whole Audi 'thing' leaves me cold.
Finally, the WRC may have many problems/ issues, thank goodness BoP isn't one of them....works in GT3 racing....but in a World Championship, it needs to be better.
