Well, it looks like the people who said the Subarus would be on song from round four were correct! Turkington on pole and Plato in sixth. Also interesting to see that Dan Lloyd has adjusted to the championship so quickly, putting his Civic in 2nd. Pretty impressive. I'm gussing that Adam Morgan will be less happy in 27th, though.

Not sure. He was slow in practice as well. My mate is there, and didn't see any signs of anything drastically wrong with the car, but I'm guessing something has gone wrong with it. Hopefully they can fix it overnight, but he's going to have a long day ahead of him starting there. Mat Jackson didn't do much better, either.

From morgan himself its a set up issue cant get the balance right at the track. Great result from turks and the whole team finally showed what the car can do plato not that far away neither. Will we see 3 different winners at oulton park can see turks getting race one win if everything goes ok. Dan Lloyd for race 2 win as he is looking quick and plato for a reverse grid race 3 win.

Morgan had no front end grip and lots of understeer. Team made various changes but no cure so head scratching tonight.

From the pics on Facebook there's been a big (BIG) one in the Poreches at Island hairpin. Pics of a car barrel rolling down the grass.

Just reading that Maximum Motorsport have signed a deal with Dan Welch - Welch will take over the prep of the Focus, but it will still race under the same banner. Guessing that it will not improve the main problem with Lines' car (i.e., Lines himself), but hopefully it's a bit of cash income for Welch.

Plato rams Lloyd to pass.

Same old dirty tactics.

No doubt he will sprout some bs that Llyod braked early or something. I think his pts should be as if he was still in 5th

Why they let Plato get away with cheating like that is beyond me. He had a great fair battle with Sheddon which proves he can race fair and square. I guess it's him just bullying the youngsters.

Because he's one of the "stars" of the series. The whole pantomime aspect is part of the apparent appeal of the series. For his part he likes being a big fish in a small pond. When you look at where Darren Turner has got himself its pretty obvious Plato stays where he can bully people and boost his ego.

He did it to Tom Ingram at Rockingham, he just rolls off the brake and back into the other car.

Glad to see Turkington get the first pole and race win in the Subaru, that must hurt Potato's ego smile

Its not like neal does it all the time infact he did it to morgan at thruxton last time out. Not a bad first race for oulton park shedden plato battle was a good one and some good fights down the field specially Austin and moffet side by side for most of the lap.

Great to have plato and turks back up the sharp end and have yet again another winner in the every growing list this year think its now on 8 different winners this year.
Be interesting to see how the subarus go with weight on.

Handling was never an issue with them just power, and it looks like that is sorted. Wonder what caused Scott's fire. He said there was oil leaking but it wasn't a very smokey fire...

Moved the TV outside as it's far too nicer day to be indoors! Ginetta race is a bit of a snooze fest, especially after a 24 mile bike ride and a couple beers!
