AvD-Oldtimers GP at the Nurburgring
Discussion
I've been going since 2001 and I'm there again this year but have always gone with Porsche and have never camped for it. I have for the Eiffel Classic though and it was excellent, we were on a site on the far side of the track which was in the woods and had showers etc, was lovely but I'm buggered if I knew the name of it, the bar at the top sold Bitburger and I wasn't driving.......;)
Make sure you go to the Old Paddock (down through the tunnel by the Dorint), always some fascinating stuff there and take your camera along the back of the pits for all the ridiculous multi million £ metal in the garages that you can often get up close and personal with!
If you've not been before, this is a good guide for the whole Ring thing.

And if the weathers nice, make sure you take a trip to Cochem for dinner. A lovelier place in the evening you'll struggle to find.
