Hi,
I live in the Redditch / Droitwich area, and I'm looking for a keen person (or two) to help this season at race meetings, and possibly at a test session too on a weekday. You don't need to be a mechanic, but the ability to use a torque wrench, stopwatch, and pitboard would be good.
The car is an 1800 Formula Ford which is entered in the Monoposto 1800 Zetec championship.

In return for your help, I'll provide the following:
Travel to and from the race meetings.
Race meeting entry for you and someone else.
Food and drink.
Accommodation in race transporter / motorhome.

If things work out (and you hold or acquire a MSA licence), I may be willing to let you enter a race with the car.

No loons or time-wasters please, and no one over 6 foot if you have aspirations to race the car.

Cheers,

Phil

Hi mate, I'm in Leominster. If you are struggling then I'm sure I can help you out the odd weekend if you need someone. I've run my own race kart, track bike and track car. I have a torque wrench and know how to use it!hehe

Hi Adam,
Thanks for the offer. I'm relatively new to the area, which is why I need to find someone locally. I'm hoping to go for a single weekday test session before my first race, as I've not even turned a wheel with this car yet. The Tiedeman trophy starts next weekend, so I probably won't have tested by then, but after that are still 11 race meetings for this season. I've attached the calendar, so please let me know if you could help on any of the dates.

Cheers,

Phil

I can more than likely help out most weekends to be honest. Other than I have jury service next month so I'm unsure how long that's going to take. I have little or no plans so whenever you are ready to go just give me a shout.driving

Thanks Adam, much appreciated. Jury service eh? Well at least I know you're not a convicted criminal, which is good. I'll drop you a person email so we can discuss further.

Cheers again,

Phil

Hi mate; only just seen this but my old man lives in Redditch, is very handy with a spanner and already races his own car (historic rally etc). I'll drop you a PM.
