They have said he was just dazed and shocked, but OK.

Lucky man.

Clucking bell!! Just watched it from a couple of different angles, I felt sick watching the view from the camera tower.

The cameraman is ok thank fk!

That was the scariest accident I've seen in the BTCC in a long time. The replay seems to show the cameraman hanging on and dropping to the ground - looked like he reacted well by hanging on to the rail and has hopefully got away with it.

Alex Martin, Stewart Lines and Mark Howard. They've collided in every race today usually with fallout for innocent parties nearby, it's the same every weekend!

When will Gow just take their bd licences off them? They've got no place in a touring car. Likewise Kelvin Fletcher for just being downright useless.

Looked like most were innocent bystanders looking at the replays

Love it - Tim Harvey mentions that there is a new system being trialled to allow the cars to be quickly picked up by the roof for faster recovery. The car selected to trial it? Alex Martin.

I wonder why.

Yep, after watching it live I actually feared that we might not actually get a replay because of what could have happened. Thankfully everyone's fine.

Scary stuff, glad all seem ok, driving standards really need to be looked at, a lot of heavy accidents today.

From the replays it seems Martin either turned across the front of Mark Howard or he was clipped by Fletcher/Howard.

Anyway regardless of what happened im just glad everyone is ok because that was scary.

My thoughts too. Apparently quick reactions on their part.

Without doubt the scariest incident I've seen in BTCC for a very long time.

Great to hear confirmation the cameraman is OK.

Mark Howard wants to wind his neck in.

st talking other people's driving standards when ultimately if he'd just lifted out instead of keeping the foot in the whole way through, that accident would have been much less severe.

Same goes for Dan Welch. Talking about people need to think about when to lift out when he's got just about the most distinguished career of pushing his car in to downright stupid positions on track and getting blootered as a consequence.

So Sheddon hit Plato three times to get past, you have to wonder which drivers need sorting out
