Collard struggling with his tyres, Shedden took his chance. Collard didn't seem upset after the race.

Well caught race 1 and replayed race 2 and 3 and wow that was some of the worst driving ive seen for a good while maybe Donny 2011.
It always the same cars too lines/howard/martin/abbott/fletcher involved in either spins or accidents at each race. Understand that you always will have slower drivers at the back but atleast in the cases before of john George and the likes they weren't all over the place.

Gow and the team need to seriously think about removing license of certain people its getting stupid now.

Cant say much about the welch/Jackson incident but that was insane.

Again neal and shedden thinking they can barge there way through people Jordan also did the same with warren scott.

If this continues to knockhill there be carnage. But great result for handy motorsport and rob Austin 3rd place in race 3 well done to them.

Some serious thoughts needed on driving standards after this weekend. Proper bumper cars through the field. Does often seem to be the same ones involved.

Gutted for Dan Welch, did they manage to sell the other Proton - if not can they rebuild from that? Not seen the incident but Ollie J not really known as the type to cause incidents like that.

Hunter Abbot will be so frustrated after a great quali.

Delighted for Rob Austin, well deserved this weekend, had a few tough runs this season.

On to Knockhill and I can't wait cos I'm going!

Mark Howard wants to wind his neck in.

st talking other people's driving standards when ultimately if he'd just lifted out instead of keeping the foot in the whole way through, that accident would have been much less severe.
Just got in after seeing some of the race 3 at my dad's house.

The above were exactly my thoughts at the time.

Idiot....clean version.

They sold the 2nd proton and that car looks fit for the bin. Think that may be time for dan welch and the proton in the btcc.

Pretty piss poor driving up and down the field. Gow needs to get a grip on this before someone is seriously hurt or worse.

Glad the cameraman was ok after than R3 incident. But that's got to be the worst BTCC meeting i've watched for driving standards, there's normally a bit of pushing from the usuall drivers but that was on another level.

Change subject a little.

I thought the 2nd Clio race was very good and largely clean driving.

Quote from Collard:

“It’s mixed emotions. I’m devastated to lose that win to Gordon – he drove well, there was nothing wrong with what he did. My front tyres were going off and I couldn’t brake and get the car stopped as well."

There's always been a bit of contact in touring car racing, and it's very much part of the sport. Sometimes the pros go over the line, and (usually) get pulled up for it. The problem seems to be some of the backmarkers who have obviously got all the money in the world to pay for new body panels who think that contact is the *only* part of the sport. And none of them have anything like a proper level of skill to compete. It's not going to get better until these guys start getting banned, because a fine or a verbal reprimand is obviously not making a difference.

Crazy driving standards, mostly from brightly coloured Fords! Feel for Jackson in the last race, no where to go other than into the rolling car, pushing it into the camera stand.

Shedden's move was 'robust' but it wasn't that bad considering everything else that was going on.

Starting not to enjoy going to meetings because as others say it's always the same drivers you see hobbling about and causing stoppages. I really don't know how some drivers keep their race licence.

Yeah I reckon the Proton shell is fit for the bin after today
