Shedden's move was 'robust' but it wasn't that bad considering everything else that was going on.

Starting not to enjoy going to meetings because as others say it's always the same drivers you see hobbling about and causing stoppages. I really don't know how some drivers keep their race licence.
Agreed its not just once a weekend its every week the only time when the camera focusses on howard/martin/lines/fletcher etc is when they either beach themselves in the gravel or hit someone else. Sorry to say but Jackson and welch was idiotic and caused from the looks of things a last meeting with that car and with no spare car could that be the end for the proton in the btcc. Looks like toca agrees giving Jackson a 1k fine.

But howard and martin needs to go or be banned for a meeting.

From what I can see Ollie being run wide and smashed by Welch, I'm confused why he was deemed at fault??

Why do so many people on here focus on Shedden?

Having read these threads a few times there's numerous people quick to point out anything he does, yet ignores anything dished out to him.

Morgan has two blatant attempts to push him off in race one, but nobody had any issues with that.

It's ok, I can understand why people support them, they've got the mealy mouthed victim act down almost as well as the father and son country bumpkin racer act. I found out the hard way two years ago that it was bks!

I'll get a pasting so they can use it to screw money out of the fans that scrape enough cash together to get to the meeting, all the while there's a load of mechanics and suppliers with unpaid bills or customers with wrecked or scavenged cars that are all pawns serving their God given right to be in motorsport.

Same goes for Dan Welch. Talking about people need to think about when to lift out when he's got just about the most distinguished career of pushing his car in to downright stupid positions on track and getting blootered as a consequence.
Bang on. I get run off the track on the outside and then penalised because the last contact was off the track. He's like one of those dick heads in the dash cam threads who accelerate towards cars that have pulled out in front of them or close up gaps then have an accident. By the letter of the law they might have been in the right but completely self inflicted.

Someone had to be punished and the penalty I got was in proportion to the outcome, not the actual incident itself. In fact even the stewards agreed, they halved the fine and removed the grid drop on appeal, although I still feel it was massively harsh

HI Ollie, are you the only one that got any sort of penalty?

Was thinking this myself. Morgan's driving standards in particular this weekend were shocking particularly his 2 full on assaults on Shedden.

Shedden may had adopted the "push to pass" on Plato but that was the only time he did it. The only person not to do it at all this weekend was Turks. Everyone else was at it. 2 wrongs don't make a right but it is what it is.

I think God is trying to tell me that motorsport isn't for me.

Sorry don't have the onboard and couldn't share it because of TV rights without permission. It may appear in the next program though!

Welch already has someone offering him another Proton shell.

Ollie maybe if you name your car with something that plebs can relate to and start some crowdfunding/owners club bks, you could also have your own army of supporters that will defend you even if you got out your car and laid a stinger strip on the start/finish line?

Not sure if you'll be allowed to tell us but how much work have you to do before Knockers? Both incidents looked appalling. Myself and the rest of PH are glad that you and no-one else was hurt though.

The worst thing about it is just how manipulative and two faced it is. All the track tours, all the patronising online, it's all ultimately for their own benefit, either to give themselves 'poor old us' credibility or actually using these situations to beg cash from people. They don't care about the fans, they don't even respect them, it is completely 100% an act.

Everything that needs to be fixed is bolt on, so no big deal. There is some other non critical damage that we might have to live with for knockhill but nothing that will affect the performance of the car

Ball-locks. :-)

Keep at it, mate.

Haven't managed to see race 2, yet; so haven't an opinion on the incident.
