Apparently, F3.5 will support the WEC for next year.

Don't know about the rest of PH, but one of the reasons I like the WEC is becuase there are no open wheel go-carts involved.

Guess that will be a good time to do the shopping at silverstone next year.

If they have a race on WEC raceday then it will be early morning stuff, most likely Qualy and 1 race on Saturday and 1 race Sunday... not sure it will detract too much from the weekend. Been on the ELMs bill for some years until replaced by FR2.0 this year.
Cannot see ELMS on the Silverstone bill next year then if that is the case.

Have you ever watched Renault 3.5?

I suspect it'll fill the slot Euro F3 traditionally or the British super cup this year filled so I wouldn't worry about ELMS. With it been a 3 day event track activity has always felt a bit sparse on the Friday and Saturday to me. Nothing really happens on the Friday till mid morning. I reckon they could shoe horn another couple of races in there.

Just thinking about it has world series by renault supported the WEC at silverstone in the past? The year they stopped the free events in this country. I seem to remember a rain shower half way through the Saturday afternoon race and half the field crashing at Luffield. Was that a support to the WEC round they held in September? Everything blurs into 1 over the years.

Yes I think that year the support was Renault World Series 3.5 and also the radical European masters. Could be wrong but that's what rings a bell with me
