Another good run in for the title. If you look at how well Mat Jackson did at Silverstone and Brands GP last year, I'd say the title is his for the taking. Just the Hondas to contend with, I don't think the BMWs will be a threat at either Silverstone or Brands.

First time I've been to Rockingham.... How on earth does the place keep going?

Who decided a 55000 all seater stadium was s good idea?

No big screens for spectators

No access in field

Who funds the place? Surely it's running at a loss?

Decent days racing but can't say I'll be rushing back to Rockingham
Also my first time at Rockingham but I disagree. I think as a spectator, it offers a lot of variety compared to Donington, Silverstone etc. You can see almost all of the circuit (albeit from a distance at parts) rather than the usual one/two corner view of many circuits. We were in the Grandstand in block 2 and thought it was superb. I'm not sure what you mean about the infield - the tunnel is right below stand 2 so in 5 minutes we where over by the race transporters watching next to one of the infield corners. The way that the pits are laid out also means you get to see more of what is happening, which is nice.

Surely the big screens would also block the infield view unless placed at a distance, though the big screens are great to keep track of the race and see close up action.

The track walk at lunchtime is also a great idea. It's the first time that I have been able to do it as the usual ones are too early and normally too far away from where we are sitting to walk with my son.

I can't wait to go back!

Silverstone will be just points picking up for both Honda and bmw don't think collard is going to be able to realisticly get the title due to his poor qualifying so he may well start to help tordoff now. Matt Jackson and Jordan will need a really good weekend to catch up to tordoff and think the 2 Subaru are a bit to far back.

Bmw do go well at brands hatch so if tordoff can retain is lead going into brands then he has a real good chance.

I recon it be fought between tordoff/shedden/neal/Jackson as the main 4 with collard/turks/plato a bit further back but still with a chance points wise. But we all now how it all changes in a second one mistake and it changes again.

I would love to see Matt Jackson win the title, Rockingham is a great circuit, so much nicer than the soulless Silverstone.

I'd like Jackson or Tordoff to win it - I think both are talented, fast and fair. Both seem like good lads off track too.

I've never been to Rockingham - I always think it looks a bit boring and empty on TV - have I been missing out? I quite like Silverstone!

Warren Scott should get a warning for stopping were he did, blatant attempt to get the safety car out for Turks to catch up.

,I've driven rockingham on corporate days, both VXR and BMW (m3 csl....) and love the place but I really should do more track days given its 15 minutes from me.

Anyway, it takes skill to keep your fat arse on the racing line and win a race smile

Nice pics - and a special nod for the pics of the Blend 37 Laguna; always had a real soft spot for that car.

Also, bonus credit for getting a picture of Lines on the tarmac.

it was My first Btcc race at rockingham (been twice before ferrari exp and mr2 world record attempt)
I realy enjoyed it. Already planning for next year. Only took 20 mins to get out of the car park after the last race.
People moan about silverstone but i like it. We always go for the weekend spending saturday roaming the circuit and badgering drivers and sunday in hospitality(keeps the wife happy)
