Just watching on itv4. Any particular reason why the BTCC don't use the Wing pits and the southern short circuit?
Not enough space for the support series to all be in one place.

Nice to see Matt Neal get his just desserts after his assault on Moffat.

Great to see Neal suffering as a result of his bullying tactics.
Assuming it wasn't a puncture as a result of over wear.

What a great first race top 3 was a great battle along with battles further down the field. Great result for collard and turks coming from the back nightmare for the Honda boys but neal deserved it after nailing moffet. Jake hill is impressing me too this year.

Matt Neal is a dirty driver repeatedly punts people off on corner entry its disgusting that he always gets away with it why don't the stewards give him a penalty?

Well done Ash Sutton and Josh Cook great result!

Both MG's have been excluded from the results of race 1 due to a rear wing alignment infringement.

plus no easy access to the wing pits for the pitlane walkabouts, on the national there is a tunnel at copse, iirc the only access on the international is via a bridge on the hangar straight. there is plenty of paddock space if you use the stowe circuit like F1, dont forget F1 takes up more space than the btcc and supports with their "motorhomes" that are often 30 portakabins joined together. Dont even know where they would put a tunnel, would be a big and expensive one from vale or club

Great performance from Shedden in races two and three to recover from the puncture in race one. Be interesting to see who ends up on the naughty step tonight - if Neal gets penalised for the Moffat incident (as I think he should), I believe that will be his third strike, putting him at the back of the grid for BH. It still feels like anyone could win it out of the top five.

Someone writing the programme for Silverstone has obviously taken notice of Howard's exceptionally bad performances this year silly

"Needs much more seat time"

He could start by not throwing it at the gravel every 5 minutes.

It was him who stopped qualifying yesterday by parking in a gravel trap.

To be fair, I think he's done that at just about every qualifying session this year.

Is it just me or was it absolutely rammed this year?

They didn't help things by putting all the trade stalls right next to the food court behind Woodcote, so the crowds round there were completely mental.

Was a good day though. Think I got sunburnt again >.<

We got directed all the way down to Club Corner for parking though. 35 minute walk to Copse. That was bit of a bd.

Aiden did well to hang on. It really looked as if Neal moved over deliberately just to tag Aiden. He's been doing it all season to the boy.

Great result for Aiden over the three races though (999!) and a testament to the skills of the whole Laser Tools team. Getting that new engine fitted in time for qualifying was a tremendous feat.

After the tag from Neal in race 1 the Merc had damaged front suspension. They adjusted it out as best they could and that seemed to be successful for the next two races, but the car will need work in the preparation for Brands.

Warren Scott trying to create his own piece of Subaru rallying history. I imagine the marshalls got a good showering of gravel.

Well, the penalty list is out, and nothing for Neal. I wonder if there's a degree of "don't mess with the championship" at play - shortest penalty list I've seen all year. Only Welch and Smith (apart from the MGs, obv):

I genuinely don't understand how Neal gets away with it, is it really just as simple that there all frightened the bigger boy will break his hand on there face?
