Part of me would love it if Nico threw Hamilton his hat, and part of me would be disappointed. hehe

After Malaysia Hamilton had a mountain to climb, but he still had momentum, having lost a sure win with engine failure. After Japan, it's no longer in Hamilton's hands. With the layout at COTA suiting Nico over Lewis, Lewis needs to pray for a miracle next weekend. And get off the line. He really needs to get the car off the line well!

I hope Hamilton wins and Nico finishes down the order a bit, just to keep the championship alive.

Ah, the payback race has come. wink

Look forward to it. Hopefully, it will be straight fight. We won't hear the end of it, if it's not. hehe

I hope that the lead closes up a bit. It'd be nice to keep the WDC going to the last race, whoever wins it.

Looking forward to this.

Would like to see Ricciardo on the podium again.

And would also like to see Hamilton win smile

There was talk of Mercedes giving the drivers different racing gloves to help with the clutch feel.

I think it'll be interesting if Lewis gets in front because I think he'll try to slow the pace hoping to bring the Redbulls/Ferraris into the mix, but if Nico gets in front on this circuit I think Lewis will struggle to get passed.

There'd be no disappointment here just pure comedic enjoyment. I wonder if it's crossed his mind at all?

It'd be fun to see but it's too early for that kind of nonsense - he could screw any hope he's got if that tactic goes wrong.

Theres some more interesting stuff going on with the tyre selection now I guess people are a little more confident what suits their car/driver/strat but i wonder if having to choose them so far in adavnce makes people play a bit safe? What if they had to "lock them down" after FP1?

Full US of A day in the Aston household. NFL for the afternoon followed by the F1, might have to get some hotdogs and chicken wings on the go!

I will be watching up here in Canada, but it will be tea and biscuits for me, and no NFL, I think the Blue Jays will have finally managed to lose the baseball by then....
