Motorsport Network buys Motors TV

The same people that recently bought Autosport.com.

Only good news I can see with this is that Motors TV goes HD next March!

This will be Zak Brown then of United Autosports.... mot sure it this is a good or bad thing. Motors were great at covering grass roots motorsport as well as some top international stuff and without subscription. Lets hope that continues.

I#m guessing from that it'll be disappearing from Sky, but it's not very clear, bad news for those of us without decent broadband if true

I read the posts on the link and this question was asked, the poster was reassured it would be staying on sky.

Hi Luke, yes, channels will be broadcast in full HD from March 1st, 2017. Also, we will stay on SKY, while also keep developing our own soon-to-be-launch OTT/SVoD platform.

Motors Tv has been working fine for me for a while now. Been reading loads of complaints about Sky Q though!

The only program I watch at all is the annual Dakar on Motors, if its not on Sky this year then Sky is being binned!
