Someone said it's being shown on motorsport TV... free view channel apparently. I am watching it on Superview. Can't freaking wait.

Just got home from an Oktoberfest, turn on TV and lights go green. Couldn't time it better

Just saw the Nissans double stacking pit stop during safety car and car behind shunts other out the way.

Bit aggressive and risking damage .

Now all the commentators go mad as a car gravels it and slicks are the tyre to have .

I caught a couple of hours of the start on Sunday morning (found it on FreeSports) and wondered what the item, that looked like the end of a broom handle, was wedged to the side of the driver and the next thing I saw he starts squeegeeing the screen laugh Great car control though given the conditions smile

I fell asleep at around 0330. Good job I was recording, managed to watch all of it last night except the Motorsport TV coverage stopped with 9 laps to go!! I recorded the highlights this morning so will hopefully catch the last 9 laps tonight. Its a good job the winning team isn't plastered all over my facebook feed lol.

I watched on Freesports and some of the time ad breaks were about 6 minutes apart.

The breaks were short but they were SO often !

I fell asleep too ,missed about 3-4 hours of it but caught the end which was dramatic enough.

Shame that the rerun edited the last 40 laps, but what a race! Interesting to note that 4 of the 6 drivers on the podium were DJR Penske drivers in 2016! Delighted for Luke Youlden; he’s one of the nicest guys you could ever meet and I hope this secures him a full time drive for the 2018 season.

I have to say Richie Stanaway stood out for me & if I was Winterbottom I'd be looking over my shoulder.

Richie has always been quality. They essentially had two grade a drivers in that team.

Yes I've seen him race GT's but to see his pace in the car has to get Tim Edwards thinking.

Anyone else's speed aside Winterbottom has been piss poor this year. He's been pretty much anonymous. Similar to Lowndes for the first two enduros actually

MW has had a very poor year I will say the Prodrive cars have been very fickle in terms of setup but others have had standout drives in their cars or if they want to keep Winterbottom they could put Richie in Jason Bright's car.

The saves of race had to be Moffat & Caruso.

Still think criticism of Frosty is a bit harsh. He's Prodrive's Golden Boy just like Tander and HRT so I don't see him being turfed out any time soon. If it were to happen then i agree Richie Stanaway would be a direct replacement. The future's bright for V8SC. Dunno what happened to him in endurance racing. He's cracking driver and there's still seats available in the US Tudor Sportscars which is heading for a golden era.
