4 manufacturers in the top 4, it's looking promising!

Not sure if he caught something beforehand, but I see Ostberg had a rear wing failure, and they were appealing to get it back. Must have made the Fiesta even more of a handful!

Evans hits a snow bank with the rear, smashes a wheel. Ogier goes through the snow bank and..

Stage 12 cancelled after the first run had an average speed of 138kph. So spend an extra 200k on faster cars and cancel when they go quicker..

The rally Finland and Poland organisers must be a tad concerned right now!

Whats the Bogey time?, if they beat Bogey its not going to make any difference to the front runners anyway. Its not the Cars that are to fast its the Stage layout that allows the high enough average speed to beat Bogey. Need more chicanes.

Its a Rally not a Race, Rallying has always been about who is closest to the maximum allowed average.

I don't think there is a bogey time, I read somewhere else it is taken on a stage by stage basis as to what is too fast.

the pressure mounts. Difficult to see how he can get him self in a position to really push for wins on events he is good at. Mexico is going to be really tough for him with no points on the board.

That's interesting, one of the challenges of organising a rally in the U.K. is trying to avoid crews beating the bogey, which is hard when the choice of roads is limited. From what I understand, the bogey in UK is mainly to do with insurance, to force organisers to use slower roads.

Meeke will have a great road position, as will Neuville! What a stupid mistake to do with a massive lead! 3 for the win tomorrow biggrin

Pretty sure there is still a maximum allowed average speed on Internationals. Uk is limited to 70mph on the loose, 75 on Tar. I've heard on FB that average speeds of 85mph are being talked about in Sweden.

I don't think Its an insurance thing, it goes back a long time,I think it's faster on stage events now than it was.

Thus far it's sitting in 5th. Breen has moved up following Meeke and Neuville dropping down.

Ogier spins on the first corner of the morning! And now it's 2 for the win, with 10 seconds between Latvala and Tanak.

20s gap now, Latvala is on a flier!

Paddon 8.7s behind Evans now and gaining fast, wonder if he will snatch 6th place on the last stage.

Have to pick Neuville for the powerstage win based on his pace early on and lack of points to lose.
