He might be saying 'Hi to his family at home' in person sooner than expected.

From the radar they keep showing there is more rain in store too.

Good fight between the porsches and the ford GTs, seems the Porsche has the upper hand in wet weather.

The 500 is going to be a washout unless the weather improves, its not even very warm there either.

Can't believe I've been sat here so long watching them 'race' under yellow.

Park it if it's so dangerous, or let them race.

Running now, daylight slowly appearing and rain clearing.

Interesting tweet from Dale:

"Rained so much in 2004. I was hydroplaning everywhere & teammate Andy Wallace was getting car sick after hours behind the pace car."

The 31 slow on track on the infield section. I wonder if the #10 can get back to the front. just under 7 hours to go.

As an F1 fan, would of thought cars could run so may hours in the rain?

I really hate Mark Cole. I suppose you get what you get from an ex-champagne salesman.

That would mean Hindhaugh though wouldn't it?

I only get Mark Cole briefly on the US advert breaks.

Some of the time, not at the moment, the problem for me with Motors is the American team more than Mark Coles, but at least none of them are Carlton Kirby

These days John spends more time eating than commentating. Some other chaps doing RLM right now.

Great racing now in GT

Whether you like his commentary style or not John Hindhaugh has done a hell of a lot for sportscar coverage, including sinking in his own money to keep Radio Le Mans going when it looked like going under.

On the home straight now, certainly in the GTs and prototypes its all still to play for. Its a shame this and the N24 don't get more exposure.

Hawksworth said the hood popped as he went down the straight, get a mechanic to jump on it, tape it up and get back out there!

That new Porsche is a proper weapon, are they going to race those in GT Pro or Am this year?
