If anyone is interested in motor racing films this one looks interesting (I think it is only showing at Odeon Cinemas on 21st Feb - sort of 'Live & Local')

A story about the history of the original Nürburgring race circuit.

Quote: ODEON says...
Lurking in the dense forests of western Germany is the most legendary, demanding and deadly racing circuit in the world, the Nürburgring.

Opened in 1927, this 23 kilometre track remains the benchmark of racing performance for drivers and manufacturers. It also deals terrible injury or even death to those with the audacity to try to conquer it. Niki Lauda nearly perished in his infamous Formula 1 crash in 1976, and “The Ring” still claims a few lives each year. It’s no wonder it was dubbed 'The Green Hell' by racing legend Sir Jackie Stewart.
This exciting new film, narrated by broadcasting icons Murray Walker and David Croft, features exclusive interviews with Sir Jackie Stewart, Niki Lauda, Sir Stirling Moss, Lewis Hamilton, Jans-Joachim Stuck, Jochen Mass and many more. 'The Green Hell' also unveils priceless unseen footage from motor sport’s golden age.
Don’t miss this in-depth exploration of the relationship between Man, Machine and Nature, set against the most infamous circuit in the world in the 90th anniversary year, only at ODEON. END QUOTE

The circuit is open to the public I've done a lap and it was pretty scary (and I was only driving at road '+ a bit!' speeds........)
