Harper did do well but that BMW looked very very quick, against guys like Gounon and Lelleo, just pulling out and blasting past, bit suspect.

But more than likely down to conditions I think.

That and maybe he was more motivated after Leung set such a blistering pace in his stint after two safety car periods. They haven't said there are any stewards enquiries so i guess the car is legal and they just drove the wheels of it.
Also, how old is the Merc now? The M4 is what, a season old? Maybe it's just better developed

We thoroughly enjoyed watching the M4 carving its way through the pack. I think with BOP we have all become used to seeing cars with relatively similar levels of performance and very few overtakes. That said, the M4 does seem to be doing equally well in other GT series' and maybe they have got the set up just right or that Donnington suited the turbo charged cars more than the naturally aspirated ones.

Either way, already looking forward to next season.

Just to add, Century did the GT Cup round a few weeks previously, so had done their homework.

Ahh, all good things come to an end, I guess it's served its purpose and it's time to move on.
Must say thank you IM, I've had some lovely times meeting people and watching some enjoyable racing.

Hello!

Yes, it is quite sad actually, but after 4 years the time has come to move onto something new. It has been absolutely brilliant, but of course multi-year title sponsorship comes at a hefty cost.

We are very thankful to SRO for everything they have done for us, but it's time to let someone else have a go and for us to explore new possibilities!.

I will still be going to races with my family and hope to see many of you there this year!

Cheers

Thanks for all the work over the past few years with it, Julian thumbup
From the Covid-struck Donington one we enjoyed with family to all the others since, it has been a blast, & nice to see yourself, Nik & the rest of the team making it such fun cool

On to the next adventures!

I think there were still four years of the sponsorship deal remaining. At the beginning of last year it was extended until the end of 2027.

By the way you can still attend the races - it's not that dear!

Ahh; attending the races will still be on my mind, it's always a timing issue . I attend quite a few car orientated events throughout the year.
Might see you around if you're in attendance.

It's bonkers cheap for what it is, granted my child being 6 is free entry but to have a whole day's entertainment for both of us for £25 is ridiculous. I doubt you'd even get parking at the F1 for that!

If anyone is at Silverstone, see you there in April on the Sunday.
I'm due to be parked up in display around the 7:30 mark apparently..

That's going to be a long day..
