Odd response to a fair question on a discussion forum. I’m not sure he needs to be personally affected to ask that.

Does the rule one how old the car should be before it's not allowed to race in the series still exist? If it does how is that damn Astra still on the grid when the FK2 shape Civic's aren't eligible?
From memory the car must have been sold in the UK market within the last five years. That Astra model was discontinued in 2021 whereas the FK2's were around 2017.

That makes sense, can't believe it's only 3 years since that car went off sale. It seems like it's been around since the dawn of time.

It was in reference to the "damn Astra".

Maybe he's been personally affected by these "damn" Astras in the past? Who knows. Or maybe it's the PH herd mentality where you must hate Vauxhalls or you're not allowed to sign up to PH.

A fairly standard agressive response from Sebring440, both on this thread and on PH in general. Best ignored, completely.

That should spice the Championship up... Hopefully.
(The only other rumour that I've heard is about Senna Proctor... he's a good peddler.)

NB: Jade still trying to finalise some sponsorship deals.

Hopefully the TikTok deal will push sponsors who are undecided in the right direction.

Sorry to disagree, she's consistently been an "also ran" being able to raise the money does not improve driver ability IMHO

No-one mentioned ability or anything else other than the news that she is trying to finalise sponsorship deals so not sure what you're disagreeing with. Are you saying she's not finalising some deals then?

Sorry, I was implying that her and other drivers with similar talent, whilst making up numbers on the grid don't really contribute much to the quality of the racing. The last couple of years has seen 4 or 5 drivers with real ability streets ahead of the rest of the grid, but a lot of the "also rans" just either hinder them and/or end up causing safety car incidents, I guess my real point is that whilst it's never going to be a reality in the way the sport is currently run is that driving talent and ability to race/compete competitively should IMHO always take precedent over a drivers ability to raise the appropriate sponsorship/funding. I know that view will be controversial, however I am also not aware of how that might change, if I was I would be doing Gow's job I guess

I've heard that there is a new Junior series proposed for 2025... It will be interesting to see what cars will be used.

All the info (so far) here:

Interested in how they plan to design, develop, test and sign-off a completely new car in such a short time period.

Sounds like a reimagining of T Cars.
