A tasty looking livery.
OK I'm now officially old and out of touch.
I think the livery is bland. However, the bigger question to me is "what kind of car is that?" (As in make and model, not which race series).

I think we're now supposed to think of Cupra as the make of car, somehow separate from Seat.

Apparently Bobby Thompson had top 10 pace at the Brands Hatch test running without Hybrid in his first time in a RWD touring car and was second only to Ash Sutton in the wet. Hope they can get this over the line, I think another championship contender would enter the battle if he can get the drive.

He has shown pretty impressive pace and results in low budget teams race 3 usually shows what he can do.

Rob Huff has a new video up about this season

Jake Hill had a go in a Peugeot super touring unfortunately the clutch started slipping before he got up to speed but you do get a few laps and some idea how well these super tourers were built

( also see how quick those mini miglias are)

I’m assuming with media day a week away, the remaining drives will be announced then. I think 4 seat’s unannounced?

WSR - hopefully Bobby T
HARD - who knows
CBM - maybe Jade in a HARD ran cupra?
PMR - ?

Re. The PMR seat, didn’t Ash Hand say he’d return to driving the car this year after stepping down last year? I’ve read/heard very little on this since.. just curious if anyone else has an angle on it.. I think Ash is a decent pedlar.

I wonder what his times would have been like if he did not have the considerable weight saving of having no hybrid system fitted?

I make it 20 confirmed as well. I think there are three possible seats left. One WSR, one PMR and one HARD

Recount & thumbup
If they can make it twenty four... that will be perfect for the new quali format.

So you know for certain that the system was completely removed, rather than just not activated? Not sure what benefit all the effort of building a non-hybrid 330e would be to WSR. Maybe you could explain.

If your predictions come true... Looks like a decent grid with plenty of talent in there.

Certainly agree with you there, best we've had in a while. Did Creesy not say that he's not in BTCC this year? He's looking at TCR I think.

Seems like Nic Hamilton is returning, doesn't say where though, just says he races for Team Hard.

That's just modern "journalism" I think. BTCC doesn't start at Brands Hatch on that date it's Donington and Nic has already stated that he's not racing in the BTCC this year.

It's a good interview with him; he's a very articulate young man. Yes, it says "he races for Team Hard" but I've be very surprised if he went anywhere near Gilham again. It was Nic that walked away from it last season.
