Anyone else notice his other cock up "fisichella is making his stop for Ferrari"

i think that was brundle's cock up .. certainly brundle said it.

I think james allen was uncharacteristicly good today. credit where it's due.

Apart from the fact it's important schumacher comes out in front of pedrosa, but then whitters on for a bit so we don't actually know if he did. For those of us who happened to be not looking at the screen that second it was rather irritating...

Should have had a counter on the number of times he refered to MS as the 'greatest'...likewise as mentioned earlier I was unaware that he 'entered F1 the year before MS'
better check the records to see how this hitherto unknowm driver performed

Hey, great to learn that Schumacher started in F1 around the same time as James Allen, eh? And there I was thinking he was just a commentator who merely covered F1. rolleyes

Was wondering what his background was? The commentry on quali really got me annoyed. What has he ever done that I would know about other than make stupid comments?

His total inability to correctly pronounce Kubica's name is getting on my nerves too.

It goes from "Kew-Bick-A" and then to the correct "Koo-bits-a" only after Brundle says it...the cock then reverts back to normal and the cycle starts again.

Sheer bloody ignorance IMHO.

Yep - drove me fecking mad!!!

IINM, his "F1 career" began with a single year as the PR guy for a Brabham team that was in the process of vanishing.

Didn't he also write for one of the specialist press?

He doesn't generally bother me too much, but his sycophantic commentary yesterday did irritate me intensely. He seems to be compelled to fill every inch of airtime.

The new season hasn't even started and yet he's already starting to piss me off with that ITV trailer containing one of the Cock's most excruciating moments. shoot

I can't face another series with his inept commentary amd smarmy manner. Is there a satellite channel? There must be an alternative - radio or broadband commentary and TV on silent? Any ideas?

The only problem is that TV transmissions are usually a couple of seconds behind radio...

Hard disc recorders are a wonderful thing. Just pause the live TV feed until you're in synch with 5Live

readit What, your HDD recorder is able to shuttle forwards a few seconds from live TV? That's amazing! Does it have some kind of time-travel / wormhole technology then?

That's ironic because you've misread mine - I was JOKING. That's why there was a winky emoticon and a big smile one on the end. rolleyes
