P490 - who was doing the last stint in your car???

(i.e. up to 5pm - he was notable from a spectator point of view as being the only car that was still being driven at race pace)

It was John - he did the last hour. The long safety car period hurt us and after that (around 8am Sunday) we decided to all drive flat out. Sadly our biggest problem was front disc and tyre wear - the discs would only last 3 hours, the front tyres (even with the hard compound) only and hour and 20.

So, who was the fastest in the car?

You, Huffy or Ed?

My money is on Huffy, as Ed has his turn being the quick one last year....

Thought i would start a thread to post photographs fromthe weekend.

My first one.

Nice pic - John Griffiths in his 935, I think. Unfortunately he didn't finish.

Do you have any more of the Porsche Open/Club Race? Cars 69/75/56/40 in particular?

I was there early on Saturday morning for the Porsche race, so I'll have a look through mine for you this evening.

Cheers guys, and I am sorry about the ungodly hour for a race!

What were they thinking?

50 cars and a 9am start....

nuts

Whats more, from where I was it was a fantastic race!

I have some from qualifying which should be uploaded by this evening, but there was no way that I was going to get to the track at silly hour on Saturday morning for the race (sorry guys).

thumbup

It was a good race, well won by Pete Morris. Some lovely cars in there too.
