There was a Sagaris (Darren Downing SP) on the list of entrants for the Dutch Supercar championship but it did not make an appearance.

Spotted a Sagaris road car in the camping area, a purpleish Chimera in the spectator area at the first corner and a couple of cerberas in the car park beside the Paddock Dinner.

Just a quick question.

But were Topcats Racing there??

Oh yes fine sire we were there with both the Marcos. We ended up 6th and 8th overall and 3rd and 4th in class. Very chuffed to have got both cars home and in the top ten.

Cheers
Darren

thumbup Thanks....

I thought they were running their Tuscan with the Saggyarse body now.

The Saggy will be out again in the winter races piloted by Mr Gilbert so expect a lot of sideways moments to please the crowds!

A bit late, but here is a selection of some of my photos from the weekend;

www.flickr.com/photos/19193662@N00/sets/72157594279493058/

There aren't as many as I would like but I have to save some of my Flickr Upload limit for other events in September. I have many more photos so let me know if theres a car you would like to see and I'll have a look to see what I have.

Sorry for not joining in earlier but after the race I had to resort to the day job which entailed traveling to Glasgow on Monday after the race and then up there for week (thats after having to be in Newcastle for a wedding at 12:00 on the Saturday of the race!! Made it back for the Race though). So absolutely shattered last week.

If anyone has any picture of our Mantis number 11 (yes the one on the truck) I would greatly appreciate having a look see.

I agree with everyone that Henry deserved better than that, it must have added insult to injury to then not be classified as a finisher. Does anyone know if he is OK as I have not seen or read anything on here from him?

Anyone going to Dubai in January?

Fear not, absolutely fine just very busy. Will be posting a full report in due course. Basically 2nd overall in the bag, last driver change done, car all sorted, one last fuel stop all planned until the (brand new) fuel tank split and dumped it`s contents. Adrian did just over an hour on 1 hr 45mins worth of fuel - we knew then something was definately wrong then. In the end we just couldn`t risk the car going up in flames and so pulled it.

But hey - I think we sent out a clear message for next year`s race !

That's shite Henry....

Sombody said you sprung a leak, but I had assumed it was water not fuel... good call (it does not bear thinking about)

Really thought you had booked you place on the podium mate, and was gutted to see you fail...

Like you said, see you next year!

Here are the only two I could find, a long long way off my best ones, but I thought I'd show you anyway.
