Just caught the last few lap of this on MotorsTV - looked like a great race, much more exciting seeing the classics race than the current BTCC cars.

It was one of the greatest battles I've seen all season!

That race was the reason I went to Brands yesterday, top stuff guys!

clap clap clap

Oh and that race is the reason that I now want to go historic racing for myself next year! bounce

Not me, but I spotted it none the less

I was in the car park just over the road from paddock entrance

Brilliant race and podium for the old man, couldn't have asked for more

I have some nice photos of all 3 of the cars mentioned on this forum (The two Aston's and the Mini) I'll try and get them uploaded tonight. I'd be happy to send them to the people involved with the cars if they like them.

spot on!

we (me and my bro) really appreciate the effort of you guys who take the time to take photos of our mini (and the other heritage cars)

the enthusiastic response the series gets really makes the effort (and my horrific overdraft!) seem a little more worthwhile!

we had a fairly pants weekend, i did the second stint of the endurance race, and got one lap in before the clutch master cylinder packed up, i managed to do 20 min of racing in fourth gear! not good in a car with such a small amount of power!

then to top it all in the second race i lost 3rd and 4th gear, so retired.

spent this morning taking the engine out and splitting the box off it, typically the problem can only the fixed by stripping the entire box!

happy days!

It was a bl00dy good show you were putting on until you retired though

Crowd was cheering you everytime through Paddock

At one point my dad overtook you (#78) up the inside coming out of paddock, I held my breath and closed my eyes, lord only knows how it must have been for you rofl

I agree, the best race and the best cars. That Camaro was beautifall and so was the MG B V8. Shame about the Capri dumping oil.

Another thing, is it going to be supporting BTCC every time and be on Motors TV every Sunday?

my in car footage just shows a door and back quarter wizz past (with associated exhaust noise!), then a huge shower of sparks as the diff (or something) bottoms out on the kerb round paddock!

i just kept my foot in!

Im not sure what the plans are you next season as yet,

Jonathan Palmer said that we should be racing more earlier in the afternoon instead of being last as he said we offered the best entertainment.

Give that man a medal if he gets that sorted.

Thanks to us being last race we didnt get back and to bed while 1:00am then i was up for work again at 7:00am. I'd much rather we race sooner, as well as the fact we'd have even larger crowds to watch us.

Enjoy

the marshalls made him come into the pits because it was leaking so much oil whilst we where waiting for the restart. i think he made about 15 places when he scurried back out!

the driver is john 'the hoff' hindhaugh, the voice of motors t.v. a really nice down to earth guy. we where having a independant 'captin sideways' challenge round paddock hill bend as a crowd pleaser! - i think john beat me thanks to the smoke he produced!
