Persoannly I'm gutted that Michael failed to finish the race.

It would have been great to go to the wire on the last race of the season (oh, and I'm a massive fan)
Yes, I agree. Would have been good.

But look on the bright side, at least the championship is still open, albeit only numerically.

Yeah I agree. It might be quite interesting to see Michael and Alonso racing with both of them with nothing to lose!

I think it's set up quite nicely for Brazil.

Alonso HAS to get a point.

Schumacher HAS to win.

Both teams can still win the Constructor's title..

That fat lady isn't singing just yet

... but to take it he has to have Alonso DNF (or, rather, not score a point)

I don't see the significance if he has or hasn't confused

Schumacher has to win to stand any chance at all. What goes on behind him is in the lap of the gods....or Massa...or Bernie...or the FIA

Nothing really, just that he'd rather read the paper than watch the race. Have to question his level of interest in F1

Steve Rider's credentials with regards to motorsport in general are without question and light years ahead of Jim 'I love football' Rosentall.

A huge shame we've been robbed of the spectacle of a down to the wire race next time but on the balance of the season it's a fari result. Schumacher will be absolutely gutted.

Adverts well timed...

Indeed, you could see Schumacher's car blowing up at the top of the screen just before they elected to cut away for another high-priority 7:00am Sunday advertisement.

Do you think that Allen is the programme editor as well?

I know you're anti Ferrari and Schumacher but have liked to have seen it go down to the wire. Massa could still punt Alonso off........

Anyone know why Fisi was so emotional on the podium?
