How do they do it - so Rossi IS still the man - bearing that in mind - lets hope Yam get there finger out (and the rest) - good to see Hopper right up there after the smash.

Not on Saturday he wasn'thehehehe

Pretty sure that getting second and really pushing Stoner to the last lap was a measure of the man when riding vastly underpowered machinery.

He was a lot quicker than Stoner round the corners which is what the Yamaha was set-up for. The two were very close for the entire race.

Yup! Was frustrating though that there was no way for Rossi to win the race. He had to be in front for the whole 'twisty' section to pull a gap by the beginning of the finish streight. The speed difference meant he'd no chance (without stoner cocking up) of bein in front after the 1st turn.

Must've p1ssed Rossi off no end. I actually think his ride was one of the best we've seen from him as the odds were truly stacked against him.

Stone really deserved the win though. He rode without fault and the team had exactly the right package ot exploit the 1km streight.

interesting how the predictions that teh Duc's tyres would be shot by mid race were way off and if anything Rossi's front was in worse shape...

The curent rumours are that the Ducatti's will have to turn down the power for future races to ensure their fuel lasts. I'm not sooo sure myself!!!

Doubt it - if it made it to the end on a high fuel consumption track like Qatar with 1KM straight. Others are going to have to get there fingers out.

You'd think that more woul have binned the valve springs by no ala desmo or Pneumatic!
