Any ph'ers needing to escape from the snow and/or sleet and/or rain, would be more than welcome to pop into Garage 7c (Jemco Racing, Marcos Mantis No. 27) for a hot brew.

Also both Jemco Racing & The Davis Group wish all our clients racing in Britcar, Production S1 and Britsports a very successful weekend (unless you are in Britcar GT Cup, in which case, have a moderately successful weekend!). Look out for the Marcos carrying logo's from our new sponsor: www.insuremotorsport.com

Everyone welcome to pop into garage 1C. Knowing our luck we will probably need a hand!

Heres to a good weekends racing and lets hope we keep dry! Snetterton was raining, sleeting, hailing and snowing. There was a bit of sunshine but we missed it! Actually, sounds like Oulton last year!!

Cheers,

Richard.

Looks like we are sharing garage 1c with you then.

As ours is a water cooled Porsche, I'd better bring the teabags !

Fingers crossed that we won't need the snow chains tomorrow.

I remember someone from Brunswick visiting MRC a few years ago asking about RX7 race prep and looking for a suitable shell to prep... That looks excellent, hopefully it'll go as well as the Belcar FD I saw racing at Brands last year!

I know of the Belcar FD, hugely modified and developed.
Saw it at Brands 2 years ago when they supported a Britcar event.

That would have been Giles who you're talking about - we found a good shell in the end and has a proper Custom Cages roll cage in it.

It came out at the 2005 Britcar 24hr but it was its first outing and we suffered many gremlins.

Should be all sorted now hopefully.

What's the understanding regarding deployment of the Safety Car this season?

Two good wins for the Moore Racing BMW in Production S1.

Also great to see a certain orange porsche last 2hrs. Now to make it last 2hrs and finish first. Well done Richard/John/Tony/Leo/etc.....

A good start to the season.

Totally agree with both those comments, particularly the second one. I am sure the orange beastie will come home first at some point before the end of the season.

The fire which seriously damaged the black Ferrari 360 was bad, it came to a halt just in front of me and the marshalls had to use about 7 extinguishers to put it out! Damage shown in shot below:

The black Fezza was on fire all the way down the pit straight, my driver came on the radio to point out being right behind it was the warmest he'd been all weekend!! glad that the marshalls got the fire out with no damage to the driver......
