Discussion
The issue of Radio Times out today (for 6th - 12th October) has a 3-page article on the Top Gear exploits at the 24 hrs. The sub-editor of RT told me that his BBC colleagues were "less than helpful" with the preparation of the article. After some discussion, he also helpfully agreed to play down the crash as a "racing incident".
There is no mention of the 24 hour piece being shown on Sunday's opening programme though.
BTW, other listings magazines are available.

Yes, I think it was good coverage. As always it focused rather heavily on the front 2 cars and the first 20 minutes were spent telling you time and time again that the Red Bull BMW had a stellar line up and won last year but overall but it was a good show and ultimately the EERC needs commending for commissioning it.
As ever the program only touched the surface in terms of the many stories that could have been told but I think that`s always the case, when you see a film or read a book / article involving something you took part in you know it intimately and so can think of loads of incidents that were left out. On balance a definite thumbs up with loads of people getting a mention.
Now my biggest complaint about the program...... it makes me want to get out there and go racing !
As ever, keep smiling and once again well done to the EERC team, I said it at the time but you really did do a great job with that race, if next year`s bar is raised by the same amount it was this year it`ll be up there with the best of them (not that it already isn`t).

I agree with Henry - great coverage and good to see some of the cars from outside of the top class. Personally, I'd have liked to have seen a bit more on how each class was progressing, not just an overall leaderboard. But, hey, you can't keep everyone happy all of the time.
Rather spoilt by the interview of Pete Morris, although it is the first time that that my wide screen TV has been used to its full potential.
Well done to everyone involved.
Cheers.
