Not go one yet,

spoke to the people at williams, and they said to send them the mesurements, and they will tell me what one will fit best.

Would have thought the eye version, would be better.

Open to debate... On the loop v eye. to to the eye you need to weld a plate onto the cage which gives you 2 more possible failure points... Looping the harness over the cage, provided its at the right height could be better...

If you havent got the eyes already I'd go for looping the straps over the cage

ok, that's for that.
I would have thought with the eye's they would be bolted though the cage.

I'll go for the loop option then.

Just have work out if to fit a six or 4 point.

may ask Kevan, if the orig. harness fits his new car. as may be better to buy the one he had in the car.

Fitting the eyes to the cage can be a pain. You need to drill through the roll cage then slot an internally threaded tube through the drilled hole and weld all the way round to maintain the strength of the roll cage. This is made even moe difficult if you need to do this through a diagonal bar.

If the eyes aren't in situ, which they aren't in your case, and you have a horizontal bar then you'd be far better off fitting a wrap around style harness. Most rally cars and BTCC cars use this method of mounting. I could be wrong, but I think you can simply unthread the snap-on fastening and loop the harness round the tube before re threading the buckle to secure it.
