When any TVR can still do it?
Surely just the TVR Challenge is a much more obvious one?
And there are no proper Sagari competing so far either!!Surely just the TVR Challenge is a much more obvious one?
Seems a Title dream't up down the pub, going to be all and any TVR's, let em think we could call it the Griff200, 400, Grantura, Vixen, Cerbera, 2500m, 3000m, 1600m, Chimeara, Griffith, Tuscan, Sagaris, T350, 3501, 390, 420, etc, etc Challenge. Would make nore sense!
I think there are issues over using TVR in the title which may be the problem. We could have re-used the TVRcc Challenge name, but I guess with main series co-ordinator coming from the Tuscan side that wasnt going to happen, and T&S challenge is a reflection that its moved on from just the tuscans...
looks a little odd though I'll admit but as long as the racings good i dont really care :-)
still could be worse channel 111 on sky has been renamed Dave and my wife calls the series "that f**king racing"

In a way, what's more interesting is that the race Tuscans never bore any resemblance to the road version at all and yet have never provoked such a comment!
Why would they - they are a separate manufactured car - just cos not a road car why would anyone have an issue with them. Just reusing the name like the Mk 90's Griff's
Indeed, so too are the current Sag racers as TVR themselves showed little interest in developing them further and then pulled out of motorsport entirely. The rest, sadly, is history.

The TopCats racer looks very much like a Sag other than the air filters in the bonnet for the AJP8. They managed to keep to the original Sag profile really well because they chose to modify the tuscan chassis instead of the body. It's still got the Sag dash in it and looks absolutely stunning. Shame it doesn't race in the TVR series.

Its not even close enough to be a hybrid.............sorry (a Sagaris owner).
Does anyone run an SP6 as a racer - as an individual (not a race team like at Lemans) seem to me to be asking for the inevitible trouble - just alot sooner and with a bigger bang.
Do like the Tuscan Sags. Think championship should be on widish Blue Book road tyres though - too much Grip is Crap.

Engine would last I think Jed if built properly and freshened at realistic intervals. They dont however, fit well within the P/W regs that are being punted about. Even the T350 that ran last year would be a dubious choice for a well policed class B. Do like the Tuscan Sags. Do you have shares in a grp company or something !!!!! I dont think the tuscans have ever been accused of too much grip !!!it'll be interesting if/when i get my next car finished.. it'll have Tuscan chassis, Tuscan suspension,Tuscan Body,Tuscan (based)engine
just not necessarily all from the same model tuscan

I'd have thought a t350 s6 would be about bang on 300bhp/ton at the wheels ? Engine would last I think Jed if built properly and freshened at realistic intervals. I did say a fit engine and 380 is not earth shattering for a well built S6 assuming it stays as a 3,6 .

Is it not just a straight below 300 / upto 350 / and over 400bhp at the fly class structure? Seem MASSIVELY Open to cheating unless they are checked on dynos regularly.
