Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT2

Aston Martin were testing a GT2 spec V8 Vantage they had built to asses the viability of joining the GT2 class. Its not been greenlighted yet but we'll have more information after a Michelin tyre test in Spain next week (using the DBR9). If it goes ahead cars will be available early next season.

Looks like Barwell Motorsport is going to have a go with the V8Vantage if it is made available.

received an e-mail from Barwell Motorsport. They will be running the V8Vantage in the ALMS, beginning with the race at Long beach.
