Would very much like to go - Singapore is a special place for my wife and I - but the GP falls in term-time so we're considering at the moment whether or not to approach the school for permission for our son to be absent during term-time.Anybody else thinking of going?

I don't yet know how much the tickets will be.
Hotel booked, nothing special but fairly central £540 for 5 nights. Check Hotels.com

well thats a trip and a half. if you get any chance to spend some time in LA then do!...i went there for teh longbeach gp a few years ago and it was awesome. i can highly reccomend the yard house, its on a pier along shoreline drive, overlookin the harbour with the QE2 in the distance, great food, great beer! plus you can drive around the LBGP track while your there
