Hi guys - if anyone is currently building or converting a car this may be of interest.

I have a spare Armtech electronic master switch - the type with a button on the outside to kill the power. You also have a green button inside the car to turn on and a red button to kill power. Its a nice unit because it has a terminal to connect the alternator output, so it deals with that perennial problem of the car continuing to run after triggering the power cut off because the alternator is still generating power. And the scrutes do check that!

Its this one:

Anyway, I bought this unit new and fitted it to the Sagaris, used it for one weekend and afterwards it decided not to play ball. I returned it to demon tweeks who returned it to Armtech, who said it had some oil in, repaired it and sent it back.

That would have been fine had it not taken 5 weeks and I was not racing at Spa in the interim. I replaced it with something else and now find myself with two electronic circuit breakers which cost >£200, and only one application.

So if anyone would like it, make me an offer. It is one race weekend old, so as good as new, cost £217 + VAT

Sorry, this is an adpaperbag, but there are two or three guys currently building cars and it might help them out...

Does this replace the manual switch that on the main battery lead.
as my be interest so I don't have to have the one poking out the top of the bonnet.

All depends on cost, as on a tight ish budget, maybe able to do a deal also if you want the tuscan hub (shame I only have 1).
