Shame it's a wet lap - I would have liked to see him take the top spot from the Stig.

scratchchin Unless it is actually raining (and Lewis must have a busy schedule), this has to be done deliberately by someone's management, surely? I bet it'll have been artificially wetted...

woohoo Schoolboy time.

Shall I raise you with a "My Dad's harder than yours" jibe? No I think not.

I am just amazed at how you can read a topic like this and just have to slip in a dig. Really. It might even have been funny if it wasn't so tragic.

Of course they are. Ferrari have given everyone good reason to hate them. As far as I can tell, all Lewis has done is be very good and woe betide a Brit why does that!

Lewis has been very good ?? not to his tryes he hasn't. You may scoff at that but it cost him the title.

All top guys will be within 1/2 sec of each other if dry.

Loved it that Mansell was only .2 of a sec off the Stig (and he goes round there constantly)wink

Yep, that's one of the things that cost him the title, as did not having the balls/experiance to say "I don't care what you fairies think, I'm the one on the canvas and i am comming in this lap and you'd better have the rubber ready." But he didn't. You can also say that the 30secs his car went dead for in Brazil cost him the title. Or that he pushed too hard in the opening lap and that his off cost him the title. There are many things you could single out and he did make errors in this his first season in F1.

Yet he still damn near won the title, even if the better man beat him in the end. The one with how many years more experiance of F1?

Lewis is not God. He is shaping up to be the best british driver for many, many moons and could one day prove to be one of, if not the, best ever. Only time will tell.

One of the things which has been noted though is that he is very hard on his rears. Infact that's something which is concerning me for next year, if he doesn't cool it down a touch, with the removal of TC.

Are you serious? "Kate Beckinsale is well fit?? Not in the morning after a night on the tiles with last night's make up on she's not". Who cares, later in the day she'll be just as gorgeous as she was before!

Why can't people just give Lewis a proverbial pat on the back and say, "well done mate, never saw that coming. Better luck next year though" rather than picking holes in an almost faultless first year.

I'm getting very tired of it.

She is a Total SLAPPER and from where she come from, popping them out at 15 is very commonwink

Stuff giving him a break, unless we see him with some proper fit babes of his own age (not some sad old crazy boiler). They don't come more SCREWED UP.

Yep good drive though.
