Went to Blackpool yesterday for a progress meeting on my car, seems to be moving along nicely, all the detachable chassis components acid stripped, chassis going in Monday, new body shell, rear wing, roof, diffuser and splitter ready, discussed and agreed colour scheme, discussed and agreed new front lighting layout (I think the Tuscan is a good looking car apart from the front lights, need upgrading), discussed and kinda agreed on new air intake system (protruding bonnet system to be replaced), discussed and agreed power steering system. Got issues with some of the existing rose joints being worn, asked him to replace them all, he then told me the cost, hastily changed my view into "save what you can". Still can't decide on whether to ditch the 4.5 road Cerb engine for a full race AJP! might run the 4.5 road Cerb next season until she blows and then replace.

Corsa, apparently when the car was built way back in 1996 it had pas on it (not Corsa pas mind), disappeared over the years though.

Michael - I used the Aurora PRM8T rose joints on the Sagaris - at £29.50 each plus the VAT they aren't exactly cheap, but they are a lot less than the Goldline bearings John will have scared you with. Tim has been runnning with an even cheaper Aurora bearing for the last 2 years without issues and the PRM8T has a higher rating than those. I got them from Autosport Bearings & Components Limited - 01932 225777

Cheers
