...anyone have any experience of the Production BMW cup?

It looks like an excellent, cost effective, way to get out on track.

I currently compete in Sprint & Hill Climbs but fancy a go at circuit racing.

Also, a friend fancies a go too, so we'd be looking at double driving and splitting costs.

Details are here: http://www.selocmotorsport.com/

As a member of SELOC, I've seen a few races and it looks like a good fun, inexpensive introduction to circuit racing. I'll try and get one of the racers to post up here for you - there are some changes for next year

Very down to earth bunch of people, close racing, very little contact and rear wheel drive too. Am seriously tempted myself.

I'm in a similar postition, been tracking and competing in the odd sprint in the Elise but dont really want to race that so I've just started off down this route.

Do it !

I did a few races with the Beemers in 2006 - great fun, a good bunch and a good way to get into circuit racing I reckon.

Cheers,
Andrew.
