Look what I've picked up from Sam at the weekend bounce
Just needs a spell with John to sort a couple of issues then off I go.

Oh and a big thankyou to Sam for helping me out during the pick up process.

Championship winning car! legal or not? If we at greenstar-racing.com are getting BANTER for not running correct power in 07 what about Sams 07 engine MMH MHH? Its only a V6?

100% legal... It was under 3 ltr which is all that was required of it.

The V8's however were always going to be a bit of a grey area, without further guidance and checking. which is now in place for next year...

Cheers

It is because of this sort of thing that i am so glad to be in a class A car, if i were you guys at green star i would tweek that motor and go for B. If I kept Taz that was the route we were going down, with a V8 tho, that little V6 would never be fast enough with only 12bhp. All B/S aside, i think the car performed amazingly, and am sad to see some people were not happy about the way we won, the engine in that car was not touched from when i got it off the workshop floor and knocked the sh!! off it and said, how about this one??? There is no way it was "not legal" and i see no reason to get in to a load of boxxxxxs here, however i do feel i should defend Tazo and the way i drove!! Merry Crimbo to all. And thankyou G for your support.

It's a shame when this sort of stuff comes up on here and I agree with Sam. Drivers have a pretty good idea of power outputs when they come up against other cars and having run a Taz myself there is no doubt Taz0 was legal but very well driven. One of the others however was pulling away from me down the straights at Brands!

The good news is the regs for next season in classes B and C are much tighter and will be enforced. I'm sure everything will become more transparent next year and the series will be all the better for it.

2008 looks like it's going to be a fantastic season with quite a few new cars entering. Of the cars I know of in build or ready to race we should see 10 different models represented in class B

Roll on 2008.
