Mallory Park on Boxing Day

Anyone going to the Plum Pudding Race Meeting on Boxing Day ?
Seems a good race meeting to get a "fix" over the holiday period.

Went a few years back. Cracking days racing

From memory, they had
caterhams
any open wheeled cars
any motorbike
any bike + sidecar

repeat in that order until the light goes

which made for some great, differnt racing. Everone knows it for fun, so they dont take it *too* seriosuly. The bike racing was great- up front they hjad a proper sportsd bike (Aprilia??) racing against a motorcross bike. The former leant right over in corners, the latter stuck his leg out to stop him from falling over. madness!


Few tips its surprisingly busy, and you can queue to get in!
Wrap up warm.
Bring food; they ran out of hot food quite early on. Nothing wrong with a thermos flask at this evtn!
