Autotesting

Hi there, I fancy a bash at autotesting this year, I have access to a local MC and they run a series of events. I have access to a landrover and a car trailer so road legality isnt an issue but i need suggestions of light preferably 4 speed cars that could stand up to some thrashing, power isnt my main aim but could be nice, strength is most important.

I have set myself a £500 budget but id prefer this to include cost of fitting a new drivers seat and any other bits that could be useful.

Ideas and other advice will be greatfully recieved.

Can you get a scruffy AX Gt for that? Although that won't fit your strength criteria...
