Fantastic Motorsport Photos!

Back on Page 99 there was a photo of a driver with his feet up on the front wheel of a car later idetified as a Cooper-Maserati due to its 'inboard-outboard' front brake configuration.
Imagine my surprise when I looked at the Grand Prix Legends version, and found they'd got it absolutely right!
For an extra point, can anyone identify the circuit?

Mad. Just mad. A custom built high speed transporter powered by a 300SLR engine (although I think this might be a replica built for the hell of it/heritage purposes). The original intention was to allow the factory to deliver a car by road to European GP's should one the the originals hit problems in practice (as it was called then) in their early 50's Silver Arrows campaign.
I don't think it was actually used in anger, and in late 1955 the '55 Le Mans crash caused a cancellation of Mercedes race activities - although they really had nothing left to prove.
The transported languished and became something of a legend until its (or the replica's) appearance in recent times.
I note that both those drivers would kill for any kind of Mercedes drive this season...
