Ok, so its a crash pic. The driver was ok. He went on to win the world championship the next year.

The pic is more to demonstrate when the ideas overtake the technology of the day.

This old $10K Corvette proves it. You don't need a $450,000 race prepared Ferrari with 650 HP to have great lap times. Just dive bombed the Ferrari in previous turn 2 at Laguna Seca for the pass. "Life dont get much better than that!"

Good question.

I still think that this belongs in the P&P. It has much broader appeal than just being classed as Motorsport only.

I like the P&P besause it can be so diverse at times which makes it a "Look & Learn" type forum, if you disect it too much all you're left with is a problem page
