Yep. Not being at the awards ceremony for his Targa Florio win because he was shagging Miss Targa 1955 under the stage seems pretty cool to me.

He was also too much of a gentleman to have been Britain's first World Champion.

There were no team orders in 1956 at Monza. Collins came in of his.own accord

I think that was at Clermont Ferrand after his accident in Spain 69. The head injury took a while to get over as it affected his vision somewhat.


Also, that picture of the McLaren at Monaco was from the Thursday practice session as the high wings were banned after that session.
