I think our prize should be a go in Blib's Stratos. Where is he anyway? Hmmm. Not sure. He was about in The Lounge the other day, haven't seen him in here for a while. Blib, where the devil are you? Post a pic, just to let us know that you still exist! or I claim ownership of your stratos

I was a marshal on the other side of the track watching most of my team put it out. I was bitterly cold that day until that happened then I dont remember anything else from that day. Amazing what adrenaline does for you. So glad Hunter was ok and the cage was taken away to Ginetta and a new shell put on,engine installed as it wasnt even bent!

The driver is Basil Kroyman. The car had the same bulkhead failure that Schumachers had at Silverstone in 1999. Somewhere there are pictures of the corsa clienti boys (Ferrari's people who run the old cars) sweeping the car into a shipping crate to be taken back to Maranello to be analysed. IIRC the car wasn't shunted, it hit a kerb heavily and broke on the landing causing the rear to be damaged too. There is a full photo set out there somewhere.

(So many classics - big collection).I just love trawling round Google Images! A couple of classics: I will second ph123s opinions on your choices just based on these two. The Fangio one is so serene, the Hawthorne one is the total opposite, all the motion and speed captured in a still. Ace!
