Teaser! BBC F1
Discussion
Why spoil the fun by saying it's a fake. It's like new government policies; we all know they won't work, but its nice to think they will.
Not long now girls and boys, and yes, I have had to hunt down the full version of The Chain from my collection to put on repeat - times are goooood.

Was very good. Echo the comments about playing the whole track for the first GP and showing a short history.
I would lose the swoops though.
And certainly would add the Ferrari 'head-but' from Brazil, not because of any partisan leanings, but it really shows you just how much heart and soul ALL team members (even Kimi under the skin) put into it.

And the new rumour about HD has got me twitching to ring Sky.
If BBC do show F1 in HD, my advice will be to stay clear of SKY HD. Don't get me wrong, as a Sky+ subscriber their Sky+ service is the best piece of techno ever. If you have a young family you'll know what I mean. The problem though is that the SKY HD box is flawed. SKY know this but are not prepared to fix it just yet due to price issues. The power supply feeding the box's internals is not up to the job and the box will break far too often. I know several people who've had mutliple failures with their SKY HD box. One friend had his box break 7 times last year!!!
The best option is to go with the new breed of Freesat Recorder boxes now on the market, slightly more expensive at approx £300 but there is no subscription, but you get loads of channels in HD and they are more stable than the SKY HD one.
So until SKY publically announce that they will be upgrading the internals to the SKY HD, do not subscribe to it.
I plan to keep my Sky+ and install the FreeSat box on top if it. Just run a couple more cables from the dish outside and plug-n-play - simple really.

Back to the topic though, it won't be in HD this year. The BBC have the tech, and Bernie says the circuit cameras they use are far greater than even HD, the problem is the transmitting equipment at a lot of the circuits isn't up to the job.
Will be good if they use the red button for F1 multiscreen like they do with other sports, for example you could see the view from the onboard camera of any car, have a pitlane camera, one over the start/finish line etc
